Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India]/Singapore, April 14: The New Age Makers’ Institute of Technology (NAMTECH) in Gandhinagar and TUM Asia, part of the Technical University of Munich, marked an important achievement with the graduation ceremony for the inaugural group of students from their collaborative International Professional Master’s Program (iPMP) in Smart Manufacturing. This event took place during a recent celebration.
The iPMP in Smart Manufacturing is an entirely on-campus, 1-year fast-track master’s program provided by NAMTECH in partnership with TUM Asia, which stands as the sole international branch of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany.
This program expands upon the knowledge gained from a B.E./B.Tech degree by providing a specially crafted syllabus tailored for the Industry 4.0 setting. Students acquire forward-thinking competencies in areas such as automation, Internet of Things (IoT), digital simulation models known as Digital Twins, industrial robotics including collaborative systems, and cutting-edge fabrication methods. With its robust ties to industries and practical learning strategies, this course readies participants to make significant contributions to India’s rapidly progressing manufacturing sector.
Next, NAMTECH and TUM Asia are collaboratively investigating the possibility of offering three new one-year international professional master’s programs starting in August 2025.
