In Polk County, Tennessee, reported WKRN, an aircraft accident occurred on Friday evening resulting in fatalities among three individuals who were kin to a golf player from Middle Tennessee State University.
The
Federal Aviation Administration
stated that a Mooney M20 airplane crashed within the Cherokee National Forest close to the Polk County area known as Reliance approximately at 4:20 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, April 11. It was reported that three individuals were aboard the aircraft during this event.
Six MTSU students have had their immigration statuses updated, according to university authorities.

ABC affiliate WTVC
The Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management stated that search teams scoured the area where the aircraft was last visible on radar and reportedly discovered the crashed airplane along with three fatalities.
The
Cleveland Fire Department
mentioned they collaborated with multiple Tri-State Mutual Aid Association partners in Polk County to search for the debris and retrieve the three individuals from the challenging landscape of the Cherokee National Forest.

The next day, MTSU authorities disclosed that the father and grandparents of the male golfer were involved.

There are no further specifics regarding the airplane accident, which will now undergo examination by both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
