Hyundai Reveals Ioniq 6 Facelift, Teases Us with First Glimpse of Ioniq 6 N

Over the past several years, Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 and 6 models have become recognized as top choices among electric vehicles. With the Seoul Mobility Show currently happening, Hyundai plans to unveil an updated version of the Ioniq 6 sedan. This refresh includes significant interior and exterior design modifications. Additionally, this event offers us our initial official glimpse of the forthcoming Ioniq 6 N model.

The Ioniq series has consistently stood out due to its striking design since the beginning.

most divisive of them all
With this recent update, the car manufacturer has aimed to develop a more unified and stylish interpretation of the streamlined design.

The frontend has undergone a complete transformation, now featuring slim LED strips as its main highlight. The hood has been redesigned to appear less angled forwards, complemented by new bumpers that create a sharper edge beneath. This redesign gives the entire front section a broader, more assertive appearance thanks largely to the use of horizontal lines. Although we have not seen much detail about the vehicle’s rear yet, one significant alteration involves the rear spoiler; instead of the prominent extension from before, it features a sleeker, ducktail-like element. These styling updates aim to make this saloon model attractive to a larger group of potential buyers compared to its slightly clumsy forerunner.

Inside, the updates include various trim materials surrounding the door areas designed to enhance a luxurious ambiance. Although the pictures do not clearly reveal all modifications, the central console appears to have undergone some adjustments as well. A fresh steering wheel design replaces the previous two-spoke configuration with a conventional three-spoke style. Additionally, Hyundai mentions addressing one of our main concerns about the vehicle; they’ve increased the size of the climate control buttons, making them simpler to operate when driving.

For now, Hyundai is withholding specifics regarding engines and costs. However, judging from the adjustments the company has implemented, we can infer certain aspects.

, we don’t expect any major changes in that department.

We do know, though, that the brand intends to introduce a performance-focused Ioniq 6 N version, as the vehicle’s rear end is visible hiding at the bottom of the group shot.

There’s not a ton to see there, aside from the car’s rather pronounced rear spoiler that was

We have great anticipation. Hyundai states that the vehicle will make its initial formal appearance in July, indicating that we should anticipate seeing more previews emerging shortly.
