Gujarat CM Inaugurates India’s First Geared Electric Motorbike Plant in Ahmedabad

The Chief Minister, Mr. Patel, also mentioned that acknowledging the necessity of adapting to changing circumstances, the Prime Minister initiated the International Solar Alliance with significant focus on renewable resources. During his tenure, India has made notable strides in the domain of clean energy. In just one decade, the nation’s capacity for generating green power skyrocketed from approximately 2.8 gigawatts to around 102.5 gigawatts, whereas wind energy output was reported to have increased twofold.

“Chief Minister Patel mentioned that more than 11 lakh households across the nation have adopted solar power systems as part of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana initiated by the Prime Minister to encourage local solar energy production. CM Patel mentioned that Rs 2,240 crores were set aside in the present Union Budget for producing 4.5 lakh metric tons of green hydrogen. He added that India is progressing towards being recognized as the globe’s third-biggest generator of renewable energy.

Chief Minister Patel stated that over the past decade, electric vehicle sales have skyrocketed 640 times, with nearly 17 lakh EVs being sold in just the previous year.
